One of the most recent realisations in winter conditions is behind us. At the telecommunications mast site in Rokitno, we used three different types of slabs depending on the terrain conditions. Strong slabs were installed in the local low ground where conditions were worst, Steel slabs in the area of limited installation space while allowing access for property owners. The Metrum5 slabs, on the other hand, were installed on the remainder of the farm field through which the access ran. The completed road was used throughout the construction period for access by installation crews, excavators, concrete trucks and a 130 tonne capacity wheeled crane to install the mast structure.
